App privacy policy

This policy covers the Crawlink mobile applications published on Google Play and the App Store. Our website is covered separately.

Last updated 11 August 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains how Crawlink Networks Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in the mobile applications we publish under the Crawlink name on Google Play and the Apple App Store. Use of crawlink.com itself is covered by our website privacy policy, and your use of the apps is also subject to our Terms and conditions.

By installing or using one of our apps you agree to this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the app. We may revise this policy; the revision date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use after a change indicates acceptance of it.

2. The short version

  • We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email or phone number.
  • What you create in an app — drawings, notes, records, settings — is stored on your device.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with other companies.
  • Apps that display advertising use Google AdMob, which collects device and usage information for that purpose.
  • Our apps request only the permissions they need: internet access, and billing where the app offers a subscription.

3. Information you give us

Our apps do not require registration and do not ask for personally identifiable information in order to work. Where an app offers a form — feedback, a support request, or a feature that saves details you type — the information you enter is kept on your device unless the app tells you otherwise at the point of entry.

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to answer you.

4. Information stored on your device

Our apps use your device's own storage — app preferences, local storage and the file system — to hold your content and settings so they survive between sessions. This includes items such as your theme choice, saved work, and progress within an app. It stays on the device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

5. Information collected automatically

Our apps load their content over the internet. Our hosting provider records standard server logs for the requests an app makes — IP address, device and operating system information, the resources requested, and the time and date. These are used to keep the service running, secure and correct, and to diagnose faults.

Google Play and the App Store also provide us with aggregate, non-identifying statistics about installs, ratings, and crashes on their own platforms. We receive these as summaries and cannot identify an individual user from them.

6. Advertising

Some of our apps are free and supported by advertising. Those apps use Google AdMob to select and display ads. To do that, Google may collect and process information about your device and your use of the app, including a device advertising identifier, IP address, device and operating system details, and interactions with the ads shown. This may be used to serve you personalised advertising.

We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you, and we do not combine it with anything else. How Google uses it is described in Google's policy for partner sites and apps.

You can limit ad personalisation at any time from your device settings — “Ads” under Google settings on Android, or “Allow Apps to Request to Track” and “Personalized Ads” under Privacy on iOS. On iOS, apps that show ads ask for your permission before requesting tracking; declining is respected and the app continues to work.

7. Purchases and subscriptions

Where an app offers a paid upgrade or subscription, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your card details, billing address or any other payment information — the store tells our app only whether an entitlement is active.

Refunds, cancellations and billing enquiries are governed by the store you purchased through, and by our return and refund policy.

8. Analytics

Our apps do not embed a third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We do not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Facebook SDK or comparable services inside the apps. The only measurement we have is the aggregate reporting the app stores provide, and our own server logs.

9. Third parties we rely on

  • Google Play services — app distribution, updates and, where applicable, billing.
  • Google AdMob — advertising in the free, ad-supported apps.
  • Apple App Store — distribution, updates and in-app purchases on iOS.
  • Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the content our apps load.

These providers process information on our behalf, or as independent controllers in the case of the app stores and advertising. Some operate outside India, so information may be processed in other countries. We do not authorise them to use it for any purpose other than providing their service to us.

10. Permissions we request

Our apps declare only the permissions they genuinely need. Every app requests internet access, because its content is loaded over the network. An app that sells a subscription additionally declares the billing permission. We do not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, call logs, SMS or health data. Where a specific app needs an additional permission for a feature, Android or iOS will ask you at the moment you use that feature, and declining it only disables that feature.

11. Children's privacy

Some of our apps are suitable for children, and those are published under the appropriate Google Play Families and App Store age categories. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and our apps do not ask children for personal details.

Where an app is directed at children, advertising in it is restricted to child-appropriate, non-personalised ads as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and Google Play's Families policy. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email support@crawlink.com and we will delete it securely.

12. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We disclose information only where it is necessary to provide the app, where you have asked us to, or where we are required to by law, a court order or a lawful request from a public authority.

13. Security

Traffic between our apps and our servers is encrypted in transit, and our apps refuse unencrypted connections. We take reasonable commercial measures to protect the information we hold and limit access to it. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Your rights and deleting your data

Because the content you create stays on your device, you can delete all of it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. There is no separate account to close.

If you have emailed us, or believe we hold information about you, you may ask us what we hold and ask us to correct or erase it. Email support@crawlink.com with the request and the app concerned. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within 30 days.

15. Links to other sites and services

Our apps may link to websites and services we do not operate — a store listing, a documentation page, or a third party's site. Those links open in your device's browser rather than inside the app. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those destinations, and we encourage you to read their policies.

16. Copyright and content

Unless stated otherwise, the content of our apps is owned by Crawlink Networks Private Limited and all rights are reserved. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes; republishing any part of it requires our prior written permission.

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and ask you to do the same. If you believe material in one of our apps infringes your copyright, email support@crawlink.com with: your contact details; identification of the work you say is infringed; identification of the material in the app you say is infringing; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law; and a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the rights holder. We will investigate and may remove the material.

17. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

We make every effort to keep our apps accurate and working correctly, but they are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that an app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crawlink Networks Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our apps — including loss of data, loss of profit, or damage resulting from any interruption of service, any unauthorised access to our systems, or any third-party content or advertising delivered through an app. Nothing in this policy excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crawlink Networks Private Limited and its officers from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of our apps, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any right of a third party.

18. Support

If you have a question about an app or need help with it, email support@crawlink.com. We use what you send only to answer your request.

19. Changes to this policy

As our apps evolve this policy will need to evolve with them. The date at the top of this page shows the current revision, and material changes will be signposted in the app or on this site. Please review this page periodically.
